With most newly released movies you would expect a toy line to coincide with the movie. I am talking aboutTransformers 3 Dark of the Moonand its toy line that came out in mid May, 2011. The movie was released internationally on the 01st of July, 2011. The Transformers 3 Toys are divided into 3 main lines, that is, MechTech, Cyberverse and Robo Power.

The “Transformers” brand of toys which convert from vehicle to robot and back again have been around for well over 25 years providing fun and enjoyment to children all over the world.

Where can you buy Transformers 3 toys?

Transformers Cyberverse Toyline

The Cyberverse toyline is also a new line of toys for Transformers 3. In it includeCommander class, the Legion class, Action Set and Playset.

The Cyberverse toyline is a smaller scale when compared to the larger MechTech toyline. It is more of a collectable item and the robot to vehicle transformation is much easier.

Transformers Cyberverse Action Set Toyline

These Action Sets are for ages 5 and above.  They have a range of features including weapons, ramps and gunner stations and accessories.  You can connect all included figures to build an amazing figure.

These Action Sets include:

  • Starscream/ Orbital Assault Carrier

Transformers Cyberverse Playset Toyline

This Autobot Ark Playset is for kids 5 and over. This Autobot Ark can change into Battle Station Mode revealing many play areas for Cyberverse action figures. Some of the key features of the Autobot Ark are electronic lights and sounds. Most importantly and I am sure what kids will love is its ability to launch projectiles. This set comes with one Cyberverse Legion Class figure. Additional figures could be obtained separately. 2AA batteries are required.

Transformers Cyberverse Commander toyline

The Commander Class is a replacement of the Scout Class line.  They are about 4 inches in height and their transformation is very simple. The Commander Class in the Cyberverse line is for ages 5 and above.  This class of figures come with converting accessories and gear.  Each figure is sold separately.

The Legion Class is a replacement of the Legends Class line. They are about 3 inches in height. This class of toys, that is, the Legion Class is recommended for ages 5 and above. This class of figures come with c-clamp hands which enable to hold weapons and interact with Cyberverse Playset. Each figure is sold separately.

Transformers MechTech Toyline

This MechTech toyline has an oversized blaster Weapons System which is available in the Deluxe, Voyager and Leader Class figures. This transforms into a different weapon and this is interchangeable with all other core Transformers Mechtech figures.

They have great character detail which include electronic lights and sounds. It comes with MechTech weaponry and intricate details. Each figure is sold separately and comes with 2 AA batteries. This toyline include characters such as:

  • Bumblebee
  • Ironhide
  • Sentinel Prime

Transformers MechTech Ultimate Toyline

The MechTech Ultimate Toyline is for ages 5 and above. This toy has three modes – the robot, the vehicle and robot with mech suit. The vehicle can also convert into the mech suit. Its key features are launching projectiles, lights, Optimus Prime phrases and electronic battle sounds. 3 AA batteries come included with this toy. Kids would definitely love to have this toy and is a must have toy. This toy is of greater detail and articulation that the Leader Class figures.

Optimus Prime is the only character offered in this toyline so far.

Transformers MechTech Voyager Toyline

This toy is recommended for ages of 5 and above. Standing 8 inches tall, this class of figures have more more detail and are much larger than the Deluxe class toyline.  This class of toys  can be converted from robot to vehicle and back again.  Each figure is sold separately.

The Robo Power toyline is a new line of toys for Transformers 3 and it is mainly targetted toward small children. You get the Robo Power Activators, the Robo Power Bash Bots, the Robo Power Reving Robots, the Robo Power Robofighters, the Robo Power Go-Bots and the Robo Power Role Play.

Transformers Robo Power Go-Bots Toyline

Go-Bots are Transformers Toys recommended for kids of the age of 4 and above.  These toys are pull back action toys and pop-up tranformation.

Robo Power Robo Fighter toys are for kids of the age 4 and up.  These toys are non transformable with action gimmicks – simply push the button and reveal a special weapon.
